What does the Clinical Team Lead do?
* Provide support, guidance, and mentoring of students and Youth Care Coordinator's
* Actively assist in progressing the growth and development of the service, in line with the Strategic Plan and client demand.
* Undertake a range of assessments of young people as appropriate, and work with young people at different stages of mental illness.
* Work collaboratively with the young person to develop individual recovery plans and/or service plans that are person-centred and feedback led with the young person central to their own care planning.
* Psychological interventions as appropriate in collaboration with, or under direction of, other Psychologists and other Senior Clinicians.
* Facilitate intake and case conference meetings with internal and external service providers to ensure a positive and collaborative approach to assisting the young person
What You'll Have
* Tertiary qualifications in Psychology, Social Work or other relevant allied health discipline
* Current full registration ((or a provisional psychologist towards the end of their internship) with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Authority (AHPRA) or current full membership with the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW)
* Have a minimum of 2-3 years' clinical experience in the mental health sector
* Able to demonstrate an in-depth knowledge of recovery focused practice, specifically to the youth population.
* Have a clear understanding and/or knowledge of the concept and impact of mental health issues in the community.
