Job Opportunity
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Accounting professional to join our team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the day-to-day financial management of the business, including bookkeeping, reconciliations, payroll, and reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage accounts payable and receivable.
* Process payroll and superannuation.
* Bank and account reconciliations.
* BAS preparation and ATO compliance.
* Maintain accurate financial records in Xero.
* Generate monthly reports and assist with budgeting.
* Liaise with management to support decision-making.
Requirements:
* Experience in accounting or bookkeeping (transport industry preferred).
* Strong understanding of Xero Accounting Software.
* Knowledge of payroll, GST, and BAS requirements.
* Excellent attention to detail and communication skills.
* Able to work independently and manage deadlines.
* Certificate or degree in Accounting / Bookkeeping (preferred but not essential).
