The ADC Cleared Escort Programme is looking for a detail-oriented, experienced and professional Operations Manager. The cleared escort team provides an internal service, providing construction and operations security escorts, who accompany uncleared personnel into data centre areas to ensure our work meets stringent regulations for access and security.
You'll join a diverse team of software, hardware, and network engineers, supply chain specialists, security experts, operations managers, and other vital roles. You'll collaborate with people across AWS to help us deliver the highest standards for safety and security while providing seemingly infinite capacity at the lowest possible cost for our customers.
The Escort Programme is the global resource provider to Infrastructure, Operations and Services teams for our regions. The Operations Manager portfolio is customer-centric, supporting new and existing regions.

You will support an internal service, providing construction and operations security escorts to ensure our work meets stringent government regulations for access and security.
You will manage security resources across a geographically dispersed and global programme. You will work with multiple partners across a matrixed organisation to understand their use of uncleared labour. You will help define the right cleared escorting support to meet their needs. You will work with escort vendors to procure and then manage a central pool of escorting resources, aligned to that demand, making sure each team has the resources they need, when they need them. You will oversee the training and performance of the security escorts.

* Demand forecasting and utilisation
* Escort clearance processing, training and delivery
* Resource prioritisation and scheduling
* Escalation reporting and management
* Reporting (financial, business analytics and voice of the customer) in written format.
This position requires that the candidate to hold or be able to attain an Australian Government Security Vetting Agency clearance (see https://www.agsva.gov.au/applicants/eligibility-and-suitability)
A day in the life
Partner with all infrastructure and service Technical Infrastructure Programme Managers and Project Managers to manage security escort requirements across the lifecycle of the region. Work directly with security escort vendors, personnel security partners to clear, onboard/train, schedule and deliver the resource to customers. Maintain routine communication with stakeholders for daily escort utilisation. Measure, assess and report out programme analytics and voice of the customer feedback in support of business reviews.

Basic Qualifications
- 3+ years of programme or project management experience- 3+ years of experience managing vendor relationships, including procurement, performance management, and resource coordination
Preferred Qualifications
- 3+ years of driving end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership experience- 3+ years of driving process improvements experience Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organisation- Understanding of the Australian Government's Protective Security Policy Framework (PSPF)
