**The Position**
**Position Title**: Regional Project Lead - Shared Policy & Protocols
**Classification**: HS5 or equivalent
**Salary per hour (exc. super)**: $46.99

**Role Description**
The Regional Shared Policy & Protocols Project Lead will be the key project resource, with the implementation of the project to be guided by the LMHN Corporate Effectiveness Committees, to ensure health services across the Loddon Mallee region are engaged and supported. The role reports to the Manager - Regional Programs, LMHN.
On behalf of the LMHN, the Shared Policy & Protocol Project Lead will:
- Undertake an assessment of the requirements to support the adoption of standardised policies, protocols and guidelines (PPG) across the region, including a cost benefit analysis.
- Development of a PPG framework that clearly articulates the policy taxonomy and hierarchy required to effectively govern health services as delegated by the entity boards
- Identify and review key corporate PPG common to all health services in the LMHN and draft standardised versions.
- Identify, investigate and make recommendations to integrate evidence based online resources/standards improve currency and reduce the burden of producing local or regional documents.
Hospitals and health services across the Loddon Mallee (which includes Bendigo Health) have agreed to strengthen and formalise their existing collaboration as a partnership of their Chief Executive Officers (CEOs).
They acknowledge that the increasing compliance burdens and shared issues of attracting their future workforce, combined with the rising costs of delivering services are better addressed together.

As such the driving force for the creation of the Loddon Mallee Health Network (LMHN) was to ensure a great person centered care experience across the entire region, a first of its kind in the state of Victoria.
