Lead Transport Services
As a Regional Workshop Support Manager, you will be responsible for leading safe and reliable transport services in the community.
Key Responsibilities:
* Collaborate with Operations Managers to investigate accidents and incidents.
* Maintain workshop safety compliance with WHS standards and regulations.
* Service equipment on a regular basis to ensure workshops are clean and tidy.
* Assist Workshop Supervisors in following organizational systems and procedures.
* Evaluate staff for additional mechanics, apprentices, and cleaners to meet business needs.
* Analyze fuel and oil consumption reports to identify buses requiring attention.
* Conduct monthly checks on buses, reporting faults to Supervisors and relevant authorities.
* Visit depots weekly, reporting findings to Regional Managers and stakeholders.
* Support workshop staff in fault diagnosis and maintenance activities.
* Oversee Workshop Supervisors, achieving contractual and internal Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
* Provide guidance and support to Workshop Supervisors as needed.
Requirements:
* Trade qualification or equivalent combination of experience and skills.
* Strong communication and engagement skills to work effectively with teams.
* Demonstrated knowledge of complaint handling, employee relations, and WHS policies.
* Problem-solving skills, leadership capability, and coaching experience to drive business outcomes.
* Excellent communication and relationship-building skills to build strong partnerships.
* Attention to detail, organizational, and time-management skills to prioritize tasks effectively.
* Australian citizenship, permanent residency, or working rights to meet business requirements.
* Currrent Australian driver's license to perform duties safely.
