Overview
This role is ideal for a skilled video editor with deep expertise in Davinci Resolve Cloud, seeking a remote freelance opportunity for a personal project.
You will manage the entire post-production workflow, from downloading proxies to final delivery, ensuring all editing, graphics, and effects are executed exclusively within Davinci Resolve.
The project requires a detail-oriented professional who can create compelling titles, edit dialogue seamlessly, and integrate B-roll and graphics using Fusion.
This is a single-job engagement with the possibility of future projects based on performance.
Responsibilities
- Download and manage proxy files for efficient remote editing
- Edit video content to current industry standards using Davinci Resolve Cloud
- Create and integrate titles, dialogue edits, B-roll, and graphics within the Resolve environment
- Apply graphics and effects using Fusion, ensuring all elements are completed in Resolve
- Deliver a polished final video ready for distribution
Requirements
- Proven experience editing with Davinci Resolve Cloud, including Fusion for graphics and effects
- Strong understanding of industry-standard editing practices and workflows
- Ability to work independently and manage remote post-production tasks efficiently
- Excellent attention to detail and creative problem-solving skills
- Reliable internet connection for downloading/uploading large files and collaborating remotely
- Availability for a single project with potential for follow-up work
