**Tasks & Responsibilities**
- Actively build relationships with assigned customers to understand their needs and expectations.
- Liaise with third party transport providers and internal departments regarding coordination of freight requirements.
- Investigate, follow up and close non-conformance reports (NCR) in accordance with company procedure and timelines.
- Rectify customer issues and complaints in accordance with company procedures and in liaison with the relevant Contract Manager, including providing feedback to relevant internal departments.
- Prepare quotations as per customer's request and follow company procedure to ensure correct and timely invoicing.
- Assist in the location and preparation of freight in accordance with customer requirements to ensure delivery in a timely manner.
- Check daily forward, return, and quarantine areas for discrepant freight and liaise with customer and vendor to resolve all issues.
- Liaise with yard team to ensure all 'must travel' freight is loaded.
- Follow contract specific safety and quality procedures.
- Understand all relevant customer KPI's and assist in the consistent delivery of the set targets.
- Assist Contract Manager with contract requirements as required and identify opportunities for improvement.
**Who we are looking for**
- 2+ years in a similar role within the logistics or supply chain industry with exposure to mining - (Desired)
- Proficient in use of Microsoft Office suite of programs.
- High attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to think creatively to solve problems and address potential service issues.
- Willingness to learn and progress.
