Support Worker, Children\'s Services Orange. Join our dynamic organisation, Westhaven, and make a real difference in the lives of children and young people with disabilities. Responsibilities
- Provide essential care and support to children and young people with daily living skills.
- Attend appointments and social activities as required.
- Complete daily case notes, incident reports, and associated administrative tasks.
What We\'re Looking For / Qualifications
We value a mix of formal training and hands-on experience. To be considered for this role, you will ideally have:
- A Certificate IV in Disability Services, Community Services, or Individual Support. This training is advantageous but not a requirement.
- Relevant experience in a care or support role. Applications from people with lived experience are encouraged, as well as those who identify as Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander.
You Will Also Have
- A current NSW Driver’s Licence and willingness to drive.
- A valid First Aid & CPR Certificate.
- A paid Working with Children Check (WWCC).
- A National Disability Insurance Scheme Workers Check (NDISWC).
- Willingness to consent to being listed on the Residential Care Workers Register (RCWR).
- Availability to work across a 24/7 roster.
