**Job Title:** Library Support
We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Library Support. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, providing excellent customer service and contributing to the delivery of library services.
* This role is based at one of our libraries, but you may be required to work occasionally at other branches within the region.
About the Role
The Library Support will be responsible for:
* Learning about the various aspects of library work and the important role of a modern public library;
* Providing basic IT and digital literacy assistance to customers;
* Being involved in the provision of a range of library programs and events;
* Coordinating and implementing our Home Library Service for the community.
Key Responsibilities
1. Deliver excellent customer service to customers of all ages;
2. Provide support to customers with their queries and issues;
3. Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve team goals;
4. Develop and maintain knowledge of library services and programs;
5. Contribute to the development and implementation of library policies and procedures.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* A high school certificate or equivalent;
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
* A strong ability to work in a team environment;
* A willingness to learn and develop new skills;
* Ability to work a rotating roster, including weekends.
