We are seeking a collaborative and innovative Site Project Engineer to join our team and play a pivotal role in transforming our site through strategic capital improvement projects. In this influential position, you will partner with plant leadership to deliver projects that drive operational excellence, utilizing your expertise to develop robust project scopes, budgets, schedules, and risk assessments.
Job Responsibilities
* Lead and manage plant engineering projects, including equipment installations, process improvements, and facility expansions, ensuring timely and effective project delivery.
* Develop and implement the site's 5-year capital plan with a focus on safety, obsolescence management, asset life extension, and driving technological innovation.
* Collaborate with stakeholders to clearly define project requirements, scope, deliverables, and ensure alignment throughout the project lifecycle.
* Create, monitor, and report on project plans, schedules, budgets, and progress, including conducting feasibility studies, risk assessments, and identifying solutions to overcome challenges.
* Supervise and technically support project teams to ensure compliance with specifications, standards, and safety regulations; resolve project issues and bottlenecks promptly.
* Prepare detailed project documentation and reports; review and validate technical drawings and manuals; travel as needed to support project delivery and foster a culture of high service, proactive problem-solving, and respect.
Requirements
* Minimum 7+ years' project management and people leadership experience in FMCG with proven contractor, high-risk work, budget management, and stakeholder engagement skills.
* Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or related field).
* Strong initiative, prioritization, negotiation, and influencing capabilities.
* Expertise in lean manufacturing (TPM, Six Sigma, MDI) and knowledge of Workplace Health & Safety.
* Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Project, advanced Excel, and Office 365; high computer literacy and analytical ability.
* Knowledge of energy and carbon reduction technologies; effective report writing and presentation skills.
* Project Management Institute (PMI) talent triangle skills to implement Project Management standards.
* PMP certification desirable.
