The Gannochy Trust was founded in 1937 by Scottish businessman and philanthropist Arthur Kinmond Bell, known as A.K. Bell. Its unique approach to philanthropy has matured into a lasting legacy that has improved the quality of life of many thousands of people. The Trust provides almost 300 houses for rent; manages an estate of 700 acres, including farms and woodlands; and funds charities, both in Perth and Kinross and across Scotland. The Trust's strategic plan and estate strategy supports the objectives set out by AK Bell in the Trust Deed, including providing affordable, high-quality housing; protecting and enhancing green spaces; ensuring good agricultural husbandry; improving community life through the use of Trust's assets; and running the Trust efficiently through people development and resource management.
Position OverviewThe Property and Estate Manager works closely with the Chief Executive and Trustees to discharge these responsibilities, with particular emphasis on the management and development of the Trust's housing and estate.
Salary: c.£65,000 - £70,000 Perth
