THE ROLE
We\'re looking for an experienced Practice Manager who can confidently oversee daily clinic operations, build strong relationships with doctors, and ensure a smooth patient experience. This role requires maturity, professionalism, and the ability to foster a supportive and efficient culture among staff.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Overseeing day-to-day operations and managing a small team of reception and nursing staff
- Building strong, professional relationships with doctors and supporting their patient flow
- Handling rosters, timesheets, and ensuring smooth clinic coverage
- Managing stock levels, clinic supplies, and liaising with suppliers and service providers
- Monitoring re-booking targets, billing, and Medicare processes to ensure compliance
- Escalating issues appropriately while maintaining accountability within the clinic team
- Supporting continuous improvement and ensuring processes align with group standards
- Use of Best Practice practice management software

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- 3-5 years\' experience in a Practice Manager or Senior Medical Receptionist role
- Strong leadership, rostering, and staff management skills
- Excellent communication skills, particularly in managing doctor relationships
- Confident problem-solver who thrives in a busy clinic environment
- Certificate IV in Practice Management (preferred, not essential)
SALARY
$75,000 - $80,000 + Super (depending on experience)
