Salon Assistant – Gold Coast
The Straightening Salon Gold Coast is an established, high-performing salon, and we’re looking for our next Salon Assistant to join the team.

The Role
This role sits at the heart of the salon. You’ll be supporting both the team and our clients, helping the day run smoothly while creating a beautiful experience in-salon.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Being the first point of contact for clients (in person, phone, and online)
* Supporting diary flow and assisting with bookings and rescheduling
* Assisting stylists on the floor, including basin work, straightening and client prep
* Taking and supporting content creation for the salon
* Maintaining a clean, organised, and welcoming salon environment
* Supporting the overall client experience from start to finish
* Working closely with the Salon Manager and Operations Manager
This is a role where no two days are the same, you’ll be across people, systems, and the salon floor.
Who This Role Suits
We’re looking for someone who is:
* A natural people person who enjoys client interaction
* Organised and confident using systems or admin tasks
* Reliable, proactive, and happy to take direction
* Positive, team-focused, and brings good energy
* Interested in growing within the hair industry
Hairdressing experience is preferred (Cert II or similar), as this role includes supporting on the salon floor and working closely with stylists.
