Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled professional with experience in financial management policy development, review and interpretation.
This role involves providing advice to the government and entities on public financial management policy, regulation and reporting issues within the Government Finance and Accounting Branch.
The ideal candidate will have:
* Experience analysing, interpreting and providing advice on financial management legislation and policy frameworks;
* Experience in managing financial policy projects;
* A strong desire to develop skills, experience and judgement;
* A willingness to take on a range of responsibilities and tasks;
* Effective communication skills with internal and external stakeholders.
Responsibilities will include research and analysis of financial management policies, guidelines, standards, legislation and instructions for entities within the General Government Sector.
