About the Opportunity
Due to continued growth, Rosmech is offering a permanent full-time position to join our dynamic team located at Arndell Park, NSW .
Self-motivated, enthusiastic and reliable individual with a solid mechanical skill set who will use their knowledge coupled with on-the-job training to grow and develop with the business are now eagerly being sought for our busy workshops in this unique industry.
Qualified mechanics are preferred; however, the opportunity is also extended to applicants with plant mechanic, heavy vehicle mechanic, or diesel fitter trade qualifications. If this sounds like you, we’d love to talk further!

About the Role
Full-time position of 40 hours per week. You will be working in a small yet active team and will report to the Workshop Supervisor. To help with our best service coverage, work hours are usually from 7.30 am to 4.00 pm. The successful mechanics will be responsible for:
* The completion of all required service and repair work on various machinery on site
* Engine fault diagnosis, repairs, and reconditioning
* Diagnostics, troubleshooting, and rectification of vehicle control systems
* Replacement or service/refurbishment of perishable/useful life or consumable machine components
* On-site repairs and servicing
* Attendance to service calls when required
Great! What do I need to have to be successful:
* Mechanic (preferably in Heavy Vehicle Mechanical Technology), Fitter, or Auto Electrician (or comparable international qualification)
* Proficient mechanical knowledge and demonstrated auto-electrical, electrical, and hydraulic skills
* At least two years’ relevant employment experience
* Drivers license rated MR or higher
* Ability to work autonomously whilst maintaining a company-driven focus
* A work approach based on solution-finding and continuous improvement
* A sense of urgency and punctuality in their work
* Strong time management
* A high customer service focus
* Ability to pass a Pre-employment medical and Drug & Alcohol assessment
