We are seeking a Customer Banking Specialist to join our Albany branch on a full-time basis.
Job Description
The Retail Bank is the public face of Commonwealth Bank, serving 10 million+ customers through branches, phone, video conferencing, and online platforms. We deliver a seamless banking experience for our personal and small business customers.
Main Responsibilities:
* Establish meaningful connections with customers through empathetic conversations.
* Work with customers to utilize in-branch technology and digital banking options effectively.
* Respond to customer transactional needs in the branch, ensuring satisfaction.
* Conduct Financial Health Checks to assess customers' financial situations and identify potential improvements.
* Process applications for personal loans, credit cards, and associated products.
* Proactively engage with customers to build rapport and invite them for Financial Health Checks or specialist appointments.
* Maintain adherence to bank processes and procedures, including accurate transaction reconciliation and customer financial reviews.
* Promote community events and fundraising activities to engage with customers.
* Foster a safe and well-being-oriented team environment.
* Analyze customer feedback and take corrective action to drive improvement.

* Passionate about delivering exceptional service and referring customers to specialist team members when necessary.
