Assistant In Nursing - Casual, variety of shifts
We are looking for an Assistant in Nursing to become a part of our agile orderly team and provide support for AM, PM and Night shifts.
Key functions include:
Assist nurses or hospital staff in carrying out patient care duties
Work as part of the health care team and practice in accordance with state legislation and within the designated scope of practice parameters for AIN's
Assess patients' needs using therapeutic skills
Transport of patients throughout the hospital
About You
You will be a minimum second Year Student Nurse or hold a Certificate III/IV (from an approved training provider) in Community and Health Services /AIN training.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Excellent ability to plan and prioritise the required workload
Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with a multidisciplinary team and model Healthscope's values
Previous experience as an Assistant in Nursing desired
Ability to work autonomously
