Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Machine Operator

About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Machine Operator to join our pharmaceutical manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating, monitoring, and maintaining specialised machinery used in the production of pharmaceutical products. Your expertise will ensure that all processes adhere to strict quality control standards and regulatory guidelines.
Key Responsibilities
* Operate and maintain pharmaceutical manufacturing equipment, including tablet presses, capsule fillers, and packaging machines.
* Monitor production processes and make necessary adjustments to ensure consistent product quality.
* Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot equipment issues as needed.
* Adhere to all safety protocols and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) to maintain a safe work environment.
* Conduct quality control checks, including weighing materials and using metal detectors.
* Maintain detailed records of manufacturing activities and report any discrepancies.
* Collaborate with the production team to identify and implement process improvements.
Qualifications & Skills
* High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in manufacturing or engineering is a plus.
* Previous experience in a pharmaceutical or manufacturing environment is preferred.
* Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot machinery.
* Ability to follow batch production directions and adjust machine settings.
* Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality control.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production deadlines.
