Our Field Service Technician will be responsible for performing inspection, preventative maintenance and repairs of a range of specialist mining equipment. The role involves troubleshooting and resolving issues with electrical control systems, automated drilling and remote drilling equipment, GPS and drill navigation systems, load haul automation systems and other mobile systems. The successful candidate will have relevant trade qualifications, experience maintaining surface drilling (boom and rotary) and underground drilling/haul equipment and hold a valid driver's license. They must also possess strong customer service and communication skills, be flexible to work with customer requirements and procedures and adhere to all policies & procedures especially EHS policies. Responsibilities will include fault diagnosis, repair and maintenance of mining equipment, identification of faults in the electrical and mechanical configuration of various mobile systems and support technicians from other regions. Key skills required include ability to work effectively in a team environment or autonomously, assist with machine audits/inspections and maintain inspection test reports and documentation.
