What You'll Do
* Support the Chair and committee in implementing MIE's vision and strategic plans aligned with Special Olympics Australia goals.
* Share responsibility for leading committee meetings and fostering collaboration.
* Assist with governance, policy development, and compliance with SOA guidelines.
* Advocate for athletes and promote MIE's activities within the community.
* Collaborate on fundraising, grant applications, and communications strategies.
* Help recruit and support volunteers while fostering a positive, inclusive culture.
* Ensure athletes are central to decision-making and leadership opportunities.
What We're Looking For
* Strong leadership and collaboration skills.
* Experience in governance, business, or community organisations (desirable).
* Commitment to inclusion and diversity.
* Ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
* Good organisational and communication skills.
