Executive Officer - Canonical & Archival Documents
The Executive Officer – Canonical and Archival Documents is responsible for the electronic and paper record management of highly sensitive and confidential documents relevant to the work of the Bishop of Rockhampton. Record management includes accurate and up to date record keeping, retrieval, archiving, and retention.
This role involves working up to 4 hours per week.
The successful candidate will have the following:
1. Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field
2. Prior experience in a records management or legal secretary or administrative position
3. Strong communication and interpersonal skills
4. Strong ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism
5. High level electronic filing management/organisation
6. Ability to effectively manage time and work schedules in an autonomous manner
7. Intermediate competency in the use of Microsoft office suite
8. Ability to work within and uphold the values and mission of the Catholic Church, such as willingness to serve others, treating others with dignity and respect, and being sensitive to the diverse backgrounds of others
