About the Role
This is a newly created position offering a genuine blank canvas to design and build the firm's end-to-end investment operations platform, working closely with external consultants and key internal stakeholders.
Reporting to the C-suite, you will lead the development of the target operating model, including systems, processes, controls, and data infrastructure. The role sits at the intersection of investment, finance, legal, and technology, combining strategic build-out with hands‐on operational responsibility.
Key Responsibilities
Platform & Systems
* Lead selection, design, and implementation of the investment operations platform
* Translate business requirements into scalable systems and data solutions
* Manage internal stakeholders and external vendors
* Oversee data migration, integration, and testing
* Establish governance frameworks and documentation standards
Investment Operations
* Own end‐to‐end investment lifecycle processes
* Manage transaction execution, funding, and documentation
* Maintain accurate investment and entity records
Reporting & Data
* Deliver reporting across performance, cash flow, and valuations
* Ensure integrity of investment data supporting financial reporting
* Support month‐end, year‐end, and audit processes
* Improve reporting automation and data quality
* Stakeholder Management
* Act as key liaison with administrators, custodians, and auditors
* Monitor service provider performance
* Build strong internal relationships across teams
Process & Controls
* Design and implement scalable operational processes
* Identify automation and efficiency opportunities
* Support governance and risk management frameworks
About You
* Tertiary qualification in Finance, Accounting, or similar (CA, CPA, or CFA advantageous)
* 6‐10 years' experience in investment operations, fund operations, or asset management
* Experience across public and private markets
* Proven experience in systems implementation or operating model transformation
* Strong understanding of the full investment lifecycle
* Exposure to complex entity and ownership structures
