Medacs Healthcare is currently seeking Mental Health Nurses for various permanent roles based in Lismore, New South Wales.
The hospital is a regional referral, Level 5 base hospital providing a wide range of health services to residents in Northern NSW. These services include a state-of-the-art Operating Theatre Suite, Intensive Care/Cardiac Care Unit, General Medical and Surgical Wards, Women's Care Unit, Paediatric Unit, Renal Unit, Emergency Department, Medical Imaging department and Cardiac Catheter Laboratory. Mental Health Inpatient Units, the North Coast Cancer Institute, Pathology, Pain Management Clinic, and Specialist Outpatient Clinics are also located there.
They have a range of adult, adolescent, and child mental health services. Depending on the individual needs, patients may be admitted to one of five mental health inpatient units, or may receive support and assistance through their community-based services. There are three acute inpatient mental health units providing intensive psychiatric care for people who are experiencing mental illness and mental disorder. Lismore Community Mental Health is also located on the hospital campus and provides community-based mental health interventions and support.
Lismore is close to the QLD Boarder and also the famous Byron Bay beach!

Requirements
* Registered Nurse qualification - BSc in Mental Health Nursing
* 2 years of experience in an inpatient adult or child Mental Health unit
* Division 1 AHPRA registration or eligibility to apply.
