About the Role
An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Facilities & Maintenance Manager to oversee the maintenance and operational presentation of a landmark 400+ unit Build-to-Rent development in Melbourne. The building features world-class resident amenities including a spa, wellness centre, bars, co-working spaces and extensive communal facilities.
Reporting to the General Manager – Property, this role will take ownership of the day-to-day maintenance operations, ensuring the building, assets and facilities are maintained to the highest standards while delivering an exceptional experience for residents. The position will lead on-site maintenance staff while managing external contractors and service providers.
Role Requirements
* Strong experience managing facilities and maintenance operations within large residential, hospitality, or commercial assets
* Proven ability to coordinate contractors, manage preventative maintenance programs and oversee building services
* Experience maintaining premium amenities and high-quality shared facilities within large-scale buildings
* Trade background or relevant technical qualifications highly regarded
* Strong knowledge of compliance, WHS, building systems and statutory obligations
* Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to respond to resident and operational requirements
