The Pulse has recently become independent and entirely volunteer-run, making this a unique and exciting time to get involved. As our Fundraising Coordinator, youll take the lead in planning, organising, and delivering fundraising activities that generate income and build community engagement.
Your role will involve:
- Coordinating events such as subscribe-a-thons, raffles, sausage sizzles, ticketed music nights, trivia nights, and more.
- Working with volunteers to source raffle prizes, secure donated goods, and help with event promotion and marketing.
- Liaising with local businesses, community groups, and media to boost visibility and sponsorship opportunities.
- Overseeing event logistics and ensuring smooth, fun experiences for attendees
Youll have the enthusiastic support of our many volunteers, from those who can help on event day to others skilled in social media, marketing, or sourcing donations. The Pulse has a strong history of hosting community events, from live music in our lobby to trivia nights with fantastic prizes, and were eager to keep that momentum going.
This is a rewarding opportunity to work alongside a diverse, community-minded team and contribute directly to keeping The Pulse on air and telling local stories.
- (The Pulse radio station also have spare offices, wifi and a kitchen for volunteers).
