Event Coordinator Role
Randstad is partnering with a local government body in Ryde to recruit an Events Coordinator. This role involves delivering the City's community goals through diverse events.
About the Role
This position reports to the Senior Coordinator Events and plays a crucial part in planning, delivery, and evaluation of civic and community events. Key responsibilities include:
* Assisting in event planning, delivery, and evaluation
* Operational delivery of civic and community events
* Coordinating event contractors for equipment and services
The ideal candidate will be highly motivated with a strong background in event management. Essential criteria include:
* A recognised tertiary qualification in events or 3 years relevant work experience
* Demonstrated experience in event planning, delivery, and evaluation
* Excellent time management, attention to detail, and meeting deadlines
The successful candidate will possess thorough written and oral communication skills, exceptional relationship building skills, and a collaborative mindset. Bi-lingual language skills and experience working with diverse communities are valuable assets.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* A current Class C Drivers Licence
* Willingness to obtain a Working With Children Check
