Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Accounts Officer to assist in the day-to-day management of resort finances, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
Responsibilities include coordination and management of banking, accounts payable, stock control and point of sale activities. The successful candidate will also be responsible for preparing accounts payable and payroll, liaising with internal and external stakeholders and auditors as required.
The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks. Excellent interpersonal skills, leadership skills and relationship management are essential for this role.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage day-to-day finances, including banking, accounts payable and stock control
* Prepare accounts payable and payroll
* Liaise with internal and external stakeholders and auditors
Required Skills and Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* 2+ years' experience in a similar role
* Accounting Diploma or similar qualification
* Proven experience managing payroll and expenditure cycle
* Inventory management and control skills
Additional Requirements:
A willingness to use initiative and strong problem-solving skills is highly desirable. Previous resort accountancy work or experience in a resort opening team would be advantageous.
