Stillwater Restaurant is seeking a reliable and motivated Kitchen Hand to join our professional kitchen team.
Stillwater Restaurant (established in 2000) is an award-winning, hatted restaurant located in the heart of the Tamar Valley in Launceston, Tasmania. Our philosophy is to provide exceptional, engaged and humble service, showcasing the best and freshest local produce.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, takes pride in cleanliness and organisation, is interested in learning about food, and wants to be part of a supportive, well-run kitchen brigade.
This role will be for part-time or full-time hours. Mainly daytime work, Monday to Saturday, with the opportunity for occasional evening work.
Part-time positions offer 15-25 hours per week, whilst full-time positions offer 35-40 hours per week.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

· Previous kitchen experience is an advantage but not essential
YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
· Assisting chefs with basic food preparation
· High-volume dishwashing and maintaining a clean, organised kitchen
· Cleaning and sanitising kitchen equipment and work areas
· Supporting service during busy periods
· Stock management
· Always following food safety and hygiene standards
