Shape Brisbane's Next Generation of Residential Communities
An established design practice is seeking an Associate Urban Designer to help lead the design and delivery of a variety of projects including residential and mixed use projects. This is a strategic role for someone ready to influence design direction, guide teams and work closely with clients at a senior level.
The Role
You will contribute to and lead urban design initiatives from concept through to delivery, shaping places that are commercially viable, environmentally responsive and community focused.
Key responsibilities include:
* Leading urban design concepts, master planning and public realm strategies across medium to large scale developments
* Driving integrated design outcomes in collaboration with planners, architects and consultants
* Presenting design rationale clearly to clients, authorities and community stakeholders
* Overseeing documentation, reports and high quality visual material
* Mentoring junior designers and contributing to studio culture
* Building and maintaining trusted client relationships
About You
* Degree or postgraduate qualification in Urban Design, Architecture or Landscape Architecture
* Demonstrated experience delivering master planning and built form projects, ideally within multi residential
* Strong design capability supported by a well considered portfolio
* Proficiency across Adobe Suite, AutoCAD, Revit and visualisation tools
* Confident communicator with the ability to operate at Associate level
