Contract Administration Officer – Maintenance Support

Chandler Macleod is seeking a
proactive and highly organised Administration Officer
on behalf of our confidential client, a major player in the industrial sector, for a key role based at their
Rooty Hill
facility.

This role provides
critical administrative and procurement support
to the maintenance team, ensuring efficient workflows and timely delivery of materials and services.

The Opportunity

* Location:
Rooty Hill
* Contract:
Initial
6-month contract
, with a strong potential for renewal for 6 or 12 months after the initial term.
* Hours:
38 hours per week.
* Work Arrangement:
This is an
onsite
position; no work-from-home options are available.
* Probation:
A 4-week probation period applies at commencement.
* Reporting to:
Senior Meltshop Mechanical Leader.

Key Responsibilities

You will be the vital link ensuring the maintenance team has the administrative and logistical support it needs. Your core duties will include:

* SAP Support:
Creating, updating, and closing
work orders
in SAP. Raising and monitoring
purchase requisitions (PRs) and purchase orders (POs)
, and updating
Preventive Maintenance (PM) plans
and records.
* Procurement:
Sourcing and purchasing parts, consumables, and services. Chasing order confirmations and delivery schedules to ensure timely supply.
* Coordination:
Coordinating equipment hire, including booking, extensions, and returns.
* General Admin:
Maintaining filing systems, documentation, logs, and preparing records, reports, and registers in Excel.

Skills and Experience Required

* System Experience:
Experience using
SAP
or similar systems is highly desirable, with experience in maintenance and procurement modules preferred. Training is available for the right candidate.
* Software Skills:
Strong skills in
Microsoft Excel
and general MS Office applications.
* Administrative Experience:
Previous experience in administrative, procurement, or maintenance support roles is preferred.
* Core Attributes:
Excellent organisational, time management, and communication skills. A strong
attention to detail and accuracy
is essential for data entry and documentation.
* Proactivity:
You must be proactive, reliable, and able to manage competing priorities.
