Salaried position for an experienced baker, food production worker, or chef seeking a career change. This opportunity is rare in the Highlands.
Mouthwater Sourdough, an award-winning local wholesale bakery, is looking for a production-focused baker to join our small and dedicated team. The position is part-time (28+ hours) or full-time.
You will understand and appreciate the differences between "supermarket bread" and artisan sourdough. You should have the ability to problem-solve on the job and anticipate potential production issues before they occur.
Once fully competent, you will have the opportunity to develop and introduce your own sourdough-based products into our wholesale range, earning additional bonus income based on gross sales of these products.
