The National Trust is looking for an enthusiastic and strategic Senior Education Officer to lead our education program and assist in the development of the community's knowledge, awareness, understanding and commitment to conserve and interpret their heritage.

Key responsibilities
* Provide leadership, oversight and strategic management of the education program;
* Develop and implement strategies and policies for a broad-based heritage education program;
* Promote and manage the National Trust's heritage education schools and public program including maintenance of heritage education resource materials and programs;
* Identify and highlight educational opportunities for heritage conservation, heritage management and community engagement;
* Develop and maintain connection with major stakeholders in the education/heritage field.
Selection criteria
* Demonstrated experience in leadership, oversight and strategic management of education programs, both schools and public;
* Demonstrated experience in the development, implementation, distribution and maintenance of education resource materials;
* Demonstrated high level organisational and financial management skills;
* Demonstrated high level communication skills (verbal, written and interpersonal);
* Sound, demonstrated ability of information technology skills, including the use of MS Office Suite of software (Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point);
* Demonstrated understanding of the value and significance of Western Australia's cultural and natural heritage;
* "C" Class Driver's Licence; and
* A Working with Children's Card and a National Police Clearance.
