About the Role
Norton Gold Fields is seeking an experienced Underground Electrical Superintendent to support our Tuart underground operations. This is a senior leadership role responsible for the safe and efficient operation of underground power systems, ensuring reliability across current operations while supporting new site developments and electrical upgrades. You will play a key role in driving safety, operational performance and continuous improvement across the electrical function.
Responsibilities
* Lead and manage underground electrical, instrumentation and control systems
* Ensure reliable power supply to support production and minimise downtime
* Oversee electrical installations, upgrades and infrastructure projects
* Plan and execute shutdown strategies and maintenance schedules
* Provide leadership and direction to site electrical teams
* Ensure compliance with WA mining legislation and site standards
* Carry out duties as a Statutory Supervisor / Electrical Nominee
* Work closely with production and technical teams to deliver operational outcomes
* Support new projects and expansion activities across site
Qualifications
* Electrical Trade Certificate or Engineering qualification
* Minimum 5 years' experience in underground mining
* Proven leadership experience supervising electrical teams
* Strong understanding of underground power systems and maintenance
* Ability to build relationships and influence across teams
* Strong planning, problem-solving and communication skills

Pay range and compensation package
* Permanent full-time role with immediate start.
* Fully covered family private health insurance through GU Health Complete Gold Cover or allowance up to $5k.
* Pro-rata long service leave (LSL) after just 5 years of service and be entitled to 13 weeks paid LSL after 10 years of service.
