Senior Social Worker - TQEH Mental Health Rehabilitation Service

We are looking for health professionals to join us as we open a new, state-of-the-art Mental Health Rehabilitation Service at The Queen Elizabeth Hospital (TQEH).
This is your chance to be part of a new patient-focused service that prioritises recovery and the delivery of best-practice, trauma-informed care in a brand new 24-bed building.
About the Role
The TQEH Mental Health Rehabilitation Service provides high-quality, evidence-based rehabilitation services to support consumer recovery and independence.
As a Senior Social Worker, you will play a key role in delivering expert Social Work services, providing advanced clinical assessments, interventions, and consultancy within a multidisciplinary team.
You will contribute to service development, mentor staff and students, and engage with consumers, families, and external services to enhance recovery outcomes.
About You
To succeed in this role, you will have:
* Qualifications & Experience: A recognised Social Work degree with eligibility for full membership of the AASW, along with extensive experience providing clinical Social Work services in mental health settings.
* Advanced Clinical Skills: Expertise in psychosocial assessments, risk assessments, and evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including individual and group work, crisis intervention, and family therapy.
* Leadership & Collaboration: Proven ability to provide clinical leadership, supervision, and consultation within a multidisciplinary team while maintaining a strong Social Work identity.
* Commitment to Best Practice: Strong knowledge of relevant legislation, mental health policies, and evidence-based rehabilitation approaches, with a dedication to ongoing professional development and service improvement.
