About the Opportunity:
This role is an excellent opportunity for a Nuclear Medicine/PET Technologist to join a reputable organisation and significantly expand their skillset.
Qscan is seeking a motivated and ambitious Nuclear Medicine/PET Technologist to join our team in Westmead. Ideally you will be a graduate technologist who is able to work independently in both Nuclear Medicine and PET-CT.
This position is offered on a Permanent Full-Time basis, working Monday to Friday across daytime clinic hours.
Key Responsibilities:
* First and foremost, provide compassionate and quality patient care, taking responsibility for patient welfare and confidentiality.
* Perform a range of Nuclear Medicine/PET procedures, to produce images of the highest diagnostic quality possible.
* Interpret requests and perform appropriate procedures in accordance with relevant legislation and department policies.
* Commit to continuous improvement by maintaining current knowledge and upskilling in new techniques/advances.
About You:
Alongside your passion for patient-centred care and Nuclear Medicine/PET Technologist qualifications, you will also have:
* Effective communication skills and interpersonal skills.
* The ability to work autonomously and excellent time management skills.
* High attention to detail.
* A Radiation Use Licence for your state or territory (or the ability to attain one).
* AHPRA registration as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist.
