Project Coordinator Opportunity
This role offers a unique chance to gain hands-on experience in construction, combining fieldwork with project coordination.

Key Responsibilities:
* Track and report daily productivity, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
* Support cost control, estimating, and programme updates, maintaining accurate records of project progress.
* Manage work teams in the field, fostering collaboration and effective communication among team members.
* Health, Safety, Environment & Quality (HSEQ): Undertake all HSEQ responsibilities as defined in the Project's Management Plans, prioritizing the well-being of employees and contractors on site.
* Escalate any risks affecting safety, timelines, or costs, implementing mitigating strategies to minimize their impact.
* Monitor and ensure construction quality in line with method statements and ITPs, upholding high standards of excellence.
* Commercial & Procurement Activities: Verify subcontractor claims and variations, supporting procurement activities and following governance and finance processes.
* Maintain required competencies through regular LMS updates, ensuring staff remain proficient in industry best practices.
* Comply with all SWC policies, procedures, and training, adhering to company guidelines and protocols.

* A Master's degree in civil engineering or construction is highly desirable, but relevant experience can be considered in lieu of formal education.
* Initial experience in roadworks or civil engineering projects is essential, demonstrating familiarity with project management principles and practices.
* Health & Safety is paramount, and candidates must actively contribute to maintaining a safe work environment.
* Proficiency in digital tools, particularly Excel, is necessary for efficient planning and data analysis.
* An analytical mindset, detail-oriented approach, and confidence navigating basic contractual procedures are also essential.
* Strong interpersonal skills, coupled with the ability to communicate effectively in various contexts, including meetings and site briefings.
* Fluent English language proficiency is mandatory, ensuring seamless interaction with colleagues and stakeholders.
