About the role
We are seeking a Financial Services Officer to join our team on a permanent, full-time basis.
As a Financial Services Officer, you will play a key role in supporting both customers and colleagues with your specialist knowledge. You will provide ongoing training and guidance to team members, ensuring the entire branch is confident and capable in delivering our full suite of Financial Services solutions.
Responsibilities
* Be the branch go-to person for matters associated with all Financial Services Products.
* Provide training and product knowledge to other team members regarding the Financial Services product suite.
* Develop and implement an annual Branch Financial Services business plan to support yearly growth ambitions in line with the 8PP.
* Implement sales campaigns aimed at identifying client opportunities, across the full suite of Financial Services products, including:
o Deposits (direct servicing of client)
o Own balance sheet lending or funding provided by third party providers (refer ral to Financial Services Manager)
o Agri Finance loans (referral to Agri-Finance Relationship Manager)
o Commercial and Asset Finance (referral to Elders loan writers)
o Livestock / Wool in Transit Warranty (direct servicing of client)
o Insurance (referral to Elders Insurance)
o Prepayment Facilities (direct servicing of client)
* Assist customers directly with their deposit requirements by providing a one-on-one personalised service including:
o Opening accounts, maintenance, rollovers and general enquiries
o Undertaking and adhering to various procedures as part of the operational functions for deposits.
* Ensure 100% compliance with relevant statutory legislation as required in the execution of operational duties (e.g. AML/CTF).
About you
* Demonstrated experience in administrative functions.
* Background in the Elders Branch Network or comparable experience within the agricultural or related industries.
* Skilled in interpersonal communication and stakeholder relationship management.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and general computer operations.
* Track record of delivering excellent customer service.
* Able to collaborate effectively with both internal teams and external partners.
* Strong organisational abilities combined with clear and effective communication skills.
