About The Role
In this role, you will work closely with a skilled multidisciplinary team of senior critical care staff, playing a key role in the treatment and rehabilitation of ventilated patients. Your responsibilities include developing and implementing early mobility programs to facilitate recovery and preparing and managing tracheostomy care when required. This position involves a 4‐hour weekend shift, with specific hours negotiable.
Location
The Maitland Hospital, Maitland, New South Wales. The hospital is a modern facility providing a wide range of medical services to the Hunter Valley region.

The ideal candidate will be proactive, resourceful, and able to identify issues and act swiftly. You should have excellent communication skills, be able to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team, and act as a representative, sharing key information from meetings to ensure alignment. Additionally, you will provide effective clinical supervision and support to junior therapists, fostering a collaborative and supportive atmosphere.
