Electrical Systems Specialist
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Systems Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in the pharmaceutical industry, with a comprehensive understanding of electrical systems and regulations.
The primary focus of this role will be to manage and maintain our electrical systems within a pharmaceutical environment. This includes ensuring all electrical systems are operating efficiently and comply with industry standards and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment, including wiring, circuit breakers, lighting, and control systems.
* Undertake reactive and preventative maintenance works on electrical and production equipment.
* Be open to training in other services testing and inspection.
* Perform technical work on building services equipment in accordance with safety, quality, and customer standards.
* Respond to reactive and emergency works as required.
* Establish and maintain relationships with clients to address concerns and complaints proactively.
* Work closely with other colleagues and managers to foster a strong team environment.
* Diagnose and resolve electrical issues promptly and efficiently.
* Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals to plan and execute electrical projects.
* Collaborate with other maintenance and engineering teams to support overall facility operations.
* Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair activities.
* Stay current with advancements in electrical technology and industry trends.

Requirements:
* Proven experience in instrumentation and process control.
* Experience with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and building automation systems is an advantage.
* Extensive knowledge of electrical systems, including installation, maintenance, and repair.
* Strong understanding of Australian standards and codes.
* Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
* Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
* Good communication and teamwork skills.
* Current Australian driver's licence.
* Ability to pass National Police Check.
Qualifications:
* Grade A Full Electrician License.
* FPA accreditation is desirable.
