Job Title: Production Team Member
Location: South Australia
Work Details:
* Maintain daily disciplines to efficiently and safely prepare and pack products within a factory environment.
Responsibilities:
1. Demonstrate personal commitment to workplace health, safety and environmental management by complying with policies, procedures and relevant national Occupational Health Safety & Environmental Legislation.
2. Follow and obey reasonable instructions and use safety equipment provided.
3. Report for work in a fit state and not under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
4. Immediately report to their supervisor any potential workplace OHS hazard or incident that may occur during the course of their work and be proactive in providing possible solutions.
5. Familiarize yourself with OHS rules and requirements applicable to your tasks, role and scope of work.
6. Participate in and contribute to Occupational Health & Safety activities/inspections/training e.g. First Aid Officer, Fire Warden and OHSE Safety Committee Representative.
7. Attend and actively participate in monthly toolbox work group meetings.
8. Immediately report any injury (no matter how minor) to your supervisor as soon as possible to allow for proper medical treatment.
9. Comply with quality systems and procedures.
10. Pack and dispatch product.
11. Achieve productivity targets as set for the machine.
12. Advise others of any variance to running speed and efficiency to specification.
13. Minimize downtimes by finding better ways to do work.
14. Proactively prepare for the next tasks to enable smooth production flow.
15. Achieve or better waste targets for each machine.
16. Make recommendations on ways to reduce waste.
17. Ensure quality systems and procedures are adhered to.
18. Provide assistance in the resolution of quality matters and complaints.
19. Ensure work area, benches and environment achieves housekeeping targets.
20. Perform both machine and general cleaning duties as required.
21. When required, assist and train others to the level of your competency.
22. Participate in any training to improve workplace performance.
23. Any other duties as required.
