About The Role
We're looking for a pharmacy technician to join our friendly team at Slade Pharmacy Warragul, based at West Gippsland Hospital. The role offers 38 hours per fortnight and provides exposure to hospital and compounding pharmacy services. You will work closely with an experienced team and receive hands‐on training in hospital pharmacy.
Key Responsibilities
* Receive, dispense and supply medications for hospital inpatients and outpatients
* Assist in processing and maintaining imprest levels, and managing hospital ward stock
* Reconcile and manage prescriptions and patient medication discharge profiles
* Provide support to patients, carers and hospital staff
* Process PBS claims and assist in producing medication profiles for hospital patients on discharge
* Confidently complete administrative and record‐keeping duties
* Assist with patient account enquiries

Eligibility Requirements
Previous experience working in an Australian pharmacy. Knowledge of the PBS is an advantage.
