Civmec is excited to announce that we have been awarded a new Sodium Cyanide Expansion Project in Kwinana working Monday-Friday Nightshift. This is a great opportunity for experienced Pipe Fitters to join our team This is your chance to contribute to a major industrial upgrade and work alongside a skilled, high-performing team.
The Role
Reporting to the Leading Hand/Supervisor your key responsibilities are:
* Measure and mark pipes for cutting and threading
* Examine and test installed systems and pipelines using pressure gauge, hydrostatic testing, observation and or other methods
* Repair any damage to pipes by regular inspection and detect any malfunctions
* Maintain accurate records of service cycles in a timely manner
* Assemble new pipes and plan layout of the same pipes
* Install pipe to structure
* Conduct pre-start checks on plant and equipment, hand tools, tooling and equipment prior carrying out the task
* Maintain and keep tools and equipment in a safe area. Lock them away or return to store when not required
* Monday to Friday Nightshift works
About You
To be successful in the role you will possess the following:
* Australian recognised Trade Certificate
* Current Working Safely at Heights Certificate
* Current High risk elevating work platform license and VOC
* Current Drivers Licence
* Nationally recognised Construction Safety Awareness Card (White Card)
* Previous construction experience (minimum 2 years' experience) with Carbon, Stainless Steel and threaded pipe
* Know how to read ISO drawings and PI&D
* Ability to complete and pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screen.
