The Role of a Knowledge Management Advisor
Organizations are constantly seeking ways to improve their operational efficiency and effectiveness. One key area of focus is knowledge management, which involves the creation, sharing, and utilization of knowledge across the organization.
This role is designed for individuals who can develop and implement effective knowledge management strategies that drive business outcomes. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and delivering multiple initiatives through the uplift or creation of required Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and User Guides.
Key Responsibilities:
* Developing, maintaining, and leading an engagement model with stakeholders on behalf of the knowledge team
* Leading delivery of changes internally identified within the organization to uplift existing knowledge artifacts
* Developing, deploying, and maintaining best practice knowledge to sustain or improve capability and effectiveness of knowledge artifacts
* Maintaining a centralized catalogue of knowledge materials with consideration for audience, reviewers, and owners
* Owning and maintaining a simple, clear, and consistent document control standard for all knowledge resources in alignment with corporate standards
* Reporting and analyzing change data to monitor and highlight continuous improvement opportunities by identifying patterns
Requirements:
* Experience in SharePoint administration
* Change management/delivery experience and reporting skills
* Ability to plan and prioritize effectively, organize tasks, and manage competing priorities
* High attention to detail by completing tasks with thoroughness and accuracy and the ability to quickly identify errors or inconsistencies within information
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* The ability to work effectively with all levels of business and technical teams, and to tailor your communication style accordingly
* Demonstrated experience in technical writing, including producing, reviewing, and documenting to a high standard specific to process and procedure writing, including information gathering
