What You'll Be Doing
This purpose of this position is to undertake all aspects of radiography for BreastScreen SWSLHD, demonstrating a high level of clinical expertise in the performance of breast imaging.

Qualifications & Responsibilities
* Registered as a Medical Radiation Practitioner – Diagnostic Radiographer with the Medical Radiation Practice Board of Australia (AHPRA), hold a current EPA radiation license and meet the requirements of a Level 2 Radiographer in the Health Employees Medical Radiation Scientists (State) Award.
* Applicants must be female (exemption is claimed under Section 31 (2)(h) of the Anti-Discrimination Act).
* Experience or extensive knowledge of diagnostic/screening mammography, along with a knowledge of quality assurance.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and ability to work within a multidisciplinary team.
* Excellent time management skills.
* Experience/knowledge of Picture Archiving and Communication Systems (PACS) and Breastscreen Information Systems (BIS).
* Demonstrated ability to display empathy, courtesy towards clients, co-workers and all multidisciplinary staff
* Willingness to work across SWSLHD BreastScreen sites and across a 7 day roster, including undertaking overtime when required.
