Oral Health Victoria (formerly Dental Health Services Victoria) is the leading public oral health agency in Victoria. We aim to improve the oral health of all Victorians, particularly vulnerable groups, and those most in need. Oral Health Victoria (OHV) is funded by the State Government to provide clinical dental services to eligible Victorians. As trusted advisors in public oral health policy and program and guideline development, we continue to contribute to improving oral health in our communities.

We're looking for a Project Communications & Engagement Lead who thrives at the intersection of strategy, reform and community impact, who can handle difficult conversations, competing priorities and differing agendas — while still maintaining trust and momentum.
Oral Health Victoria is delivering major transformation — including Value Based Health Care implementation and the roll-out of a statewide Electronic Oral Health Record.
We need someone who can shape how they land, both internally and externally.
You will lead communications and engagement for these flagship change programs — from strategic narrative and executive advice to hands-on delivery and co-design with staff, patients, partners, agencies and communities.
What you'll lead
* Design and deliver communications + engagement strategies for major reform
* Translate complex project information into clear, accessible messaging (including children, families and priority populations)
* Lead co-design approaches that build buy-in, not just compliance
* Influence a complex stakeholder ecosystem — internal + external
* Build shared ownership and visible momentum around change
Who we think will thrive
* Senior experience in communications and/or engagement
* Strong judgement in managing diverging stakeholder interests
* Strategic thinker who also executes and delivers
* Skilled at influencing senior leaders, clinicians, partners and communities
Experience in public health will be highly regarded.
