The Irrigation Technical Officer is a vital position in the planning and implementation of irrigation management systems and infrastructure renewal projects.
This technical specialist provides guidance to operations staff, supporting programs and projects that enhance operational efficiency and long-term asset sustainability.
* Extensive experience in irrigation infrastructure maintenance and installation required.
* Operating expertise in irrigation telemetry and commercial irrigation systems essential.
* Sound knowledge of landscape maintenance practices and minor infrastructure works necessary.
To be successful in this role, candidates will need a Certificate IV in Irrigation (or equivalent relevant qualification) and a current Driver's Licence.
