Leading Business is seeking an experienced Payroll Officer to join their friendly payroll team.
In this role, you will manage end-to-end payroll for your own portfolio of clients, including preparing and processing weekly, fortnightly, or monthly payrolls for both permanent and casual staff. You will also maintain and update employee personal records, provide advice on payroll-related queries, and prepare and run monthly payroll reports.
Key Responsibilities Include:
1. Preparing and processing the weekly/fortnightly or monthly payrolls end to end for clients – permanent and casual staff
2. Maintain and update employee personal records
3. Providing advice on payroll related queries
4. Prepare and run monthly payroll report.
5. Preparation and Submission of payroll tax, PAYG, Workers Compensation and other compliance returns
6. Payroll Reconciliations
About You:
7. Prior Payroll experience
8. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
9. Strong Excel Skills
10. Ability to multi-task
11. Proven experience in the ability to manage competing priorities.
12. Sound knowledge of Payroll Tax, Superannuation requirements, Award structures
