Motorcycle Mechanic – 1st Year Apprentice
This isn't a normal apprenticeship.
At Powersport Central, we run a structured apprenticeship program with one clear goal: one apprentice per year level, high standards, strong culture, the right people, not just whoever applies.
PSC Apprentice Search
Instead of hiring off a resume, shortlisted applicants take part in a structured, short‐term unpaid trial process. Over the course of approximately one month, selected applicants will be invited in for short trial blocks (around 3 days at a time) where they will be observed and assessed in a real workshop environment.
The Trial Focuses On
* Mechanical aptitude and basic hands‐on ability
* Following instructions and learning speed
* Workshop habits, cleanliness, and safety
* Time management and reliability
* Attitude, coachability, and team fit
At the end of the process, one applicant will be offered a full‐time 1st year apprenticeship.
Who We're Looking For
* Someone keen to start a motorcycle mechanic apprenticeship
* Genuine interest in motorcycles (riding is a bonus, not essential)
* Strong work ethic and good attitude
* Willingness to learn and take feedback
* Comfortable being part of a structured, high‐standard environment
The PSC Apprentice Search will be documented as part of our content program. You don't need to be "on camera confident," but you do need to be comfortable being filmed while working and learning.
How to Apply
* A short introduction about yourself
* Why you want to become a motorcycle mechanic
* Any relevant experience (school, work, personal projects — it all counts)
