Fixed term duration full-time position (6 months parental leave cover).
Employment services is a people business, and we focus on people first. Create relationships with your caseload and assist them to address non-vocational challenges with a view to improving their employment capability. Be curious rather than judgmental to assess clients for non-vocational barriers to employment, develop a support plan, and coordinate appropriate referrals.
This position is based in Griffith or Wagga Wagga. The role requires some travel and overnight stays; telehealth servicing can be done between travel periods. A company car will be provided for travel.
Duties
1. Assess clients for non-vocational barriers to employment
2. Deliver counselling support where appropriate or necessary
3. Develop tailored support plans in collaboration with clients
4. Meet with clients regularly to review progress and determine further actions
5. Work in partnership with Employment Services staff to enable employment outcomes
6. Network and develop relationships with key stakeholders

* A relevant university qualification (e.g., Social Work, Psychology, Counselling, Rehabilitation Counselling) and membership with the relevant professional association (AASW, APHRA, PACFA, RCAA)
