About the Client

Our client is a well-established advisor, developer, sponsor, investor, and manager of infrastructure and structured finance projects. They have a proven track record in sponsoring and leading bidding consortiums, as well as investing in government-sponsored projects. Their work spans from concept to completion, underpinned by a strong reputation for delivering complex, high-value projects across multiple sectors.

About the Role

This position sits within the origination team and plays a critical role in securing and developing infrastructure and structured finance opportunities.

Key responsibilities include:


* Leading and undertaking financial analysis, modelling, and supervising modelling activities.
* Managing due diligence and project documentation.
* Supporting and guiding junior team members, ensuring delivery of time-critical activities.
* Liaising and negotiating with a wide range of project stakeholders and consortium members, including subcontractors (D&C contractors, operators, FM providers) and debt/equity financiers.
* Involvement across all stages of asset bidding and development, including:
* Engaging and managing consultants.
* Selecting partners and financiers.
* Structuring financial, tax, and contractual arrangements.
* Optimising bids and preparing debt/equity term sheets.
* Negotiating subcontractor documentation and commercial terms.
* Developing bid strategies and preparing submissions.

This is a hands-on role where you will work closely with senior leadership while managing and mentoring junior colleagues.

About You

You will bring:

* A relevant tertiary qualification.
* A minimum of 6 years' post-graduate experience in a related field (e.g., infrastructure advisory, project finance, corporate finance, investment banking, Big 4 transaction services).
* Advanced financial analysis and modelling skills.
* Strong commercial judgement with the ability to see both detail and the bigger picture.
* Proven ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and solve problems proactively.
* Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders.
* A proactive, collaborative approach to working with both senior leaders and junior colleagues.
